Peake Engines - MINOR

As far as is known to me, this is the smallest steam engine available on the market. It is a fully functional single acting oscillating steam engine comprised primarily of brass, with a piston of stainless and an exhaust of copper. The cylinder bore is 3.96mm and the stroke length is 7mm. It runs anti-clockwise and is entitled 'MINOR'. It is mounted on a tiny piece of antique pine.

This engine comes with a Certificate of Authenticity with the signature and seal of the maker, Ben Peake. On the certificate it shows the number of the engine (of this model) to be made in the Peake workshop. Also included, is a small manual which explains a few things about the maintenance and running of this charming little engine.

Thanks go to my customer, OZSTEAMDEMON for this last video of both MAJOR and MINOR running on steam from his very fine boiler. Thanks OZSTEAMDEMON!
