Hi! I'm Ben Peake, an Australian with a borderline obsession with model engines. My first introduction to the arena of model engineering occurred in 2007, when for no reason in particular, I had the desire to make a steam engine. I happened to have the equipment as I am a trumpeter by training and I have always been interested in making and modifying parts of trumpets. I shall not post a photo of this first engine, as it is a little embarrassing! It doesn't work, but the process proved exciting enough to warrant another try, this time proving more successful.
Since then I have been creating miniature engines of my own design in small batches (from 1 to 100) as I not only like these engines myself, I enjoy making them available for others to enjoy.
I have a small team of people who make my engines possible and who I would like to acknowledge.
