It has arrived...finally! A small and strictly limited batch of 20 Limited Edition Minors have been completed. The piston/cylinder assembly has been totally redesigned, resulting in a two fold increase in power output as L.E Minor is double acting. To accommodate this integral feature, the body has been reworked to house a much more complex network of porting which is cleverly concealed so as not to detract from the charming aesthetic for which Minor is known. The crank shaft now has a steel pin and a reduced and uniform diameter, enabling the user to easily dismantle the engine for cleaning or purely out of curiosity. The collar which is present on Minor is no longer to be found on this engine, as a reconfigured crankshaft achieves the same purpose with less space being occupied, thus creating an even more compact machine. In answer to all the mechanical improvements, the appearance of the engine received a face lift also. L.E. Minor was given two generous coats of glossy black pain to the flywheel hub, spokes and to the cylinder. A sleek, screw-less name plate is affixed to a lacquered piece of Australian Silver-oak, a valuable timber which is becoming increasingly rare. Take you time and enjoy the photographs and video of this curious little steamer.
